There is so much to do on campus! The student council and clubs host all kinds of fun activities. They recently hosted something for students who were finishing their first year on campus and they had games set up along with food and activities. There are so many clubs on campus from fencing, archery, glass-blowing, blacksmithing, and more!

Missouri S&T offers majors I did not know existed. Changing my major was a relatively smooth process, and I love my new area of study, Engineering Management. I am able to earn an engineering degree while still scratching my itch for workplace development and leadership.

I honestly would not recommend S&T to anyone after my experience there. No majors besides engineers get the time of day, not even other STEM students. There are definitely some really good staff members at the school, especially in the Biology and Chemistry departments, but more often than not, professors are condescending and rude. The school environment as a whole is pretty unwelcoming; there is a huge lack of support from basically every corner of the university. There is no real community among the student body, RAs are often catty, the offices designed to help students mentally and academically rarely do, and advising is basically nonexistent.
S&T is definitely a cheaper option than some other schools but beware of hidden fees throughout the semester. I was able to transfer to a much higher ranked school for the same final price. S&T may be a better school for others than it was for me, but please talk to real students and think about the environment as a whole before committing.
