drawingcard to some in the profession and a few are now contemplating leav I ing the teaching field Still others as they have done in years past and will every year in spite of war teacher shortage or plan to give up their teaching jobs to take up the role of wife and house keeper 50 Per Some few of the teachers plan to stay on With their present jobs but have not officially said so yet Of the 'emergency certificate teachers who taught their first school last year about 50 per cent will stay on in the profession and at the same schools About half of the other 50 per cent will move to better
